A dose of reality

SO, today is Monday and the start of a new schedule for us.  Right now I can honestly say I'm exhausted, the alarm went off at 6:30 this morning and I have not stopped for a second except to inhale barbecued chicken, pasta and a salad for dinner.  Robert and I ate in shifts since baby Jack wanted to be cuddled, no arguments here.  I dropped Abigail off at school this morning and headed to the YMCA in Hartfield for spin class.  They have child watch and it's working out well, the sweet college girl Carrie is great with Jack Jack.  I then came home and fed Jack his bottle, showered and then it was time to pick Abby up from pre-school.  We came home and got down all of the halloween decorations, I let her help decorate and she had so much fun.  She loves all holidays just like her mama!  She hung some halloween ribbon in her bedroom from a lamp so I had to quickly take that down without her looking otherwise she was a great help :)!  I also went through some boxes of clothes, put up some of her summer things up and got out some fall and winter clothes.  After both children were bathed and in bed this evening I spot cleaned the carpet in the living room, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen floor and scrubbed the toilets.  I know totally random cleaning but I feel organized now...So on that note we are having a beach day tomorrow.  I am trying to soak up every last day of nice weather.  Those dreary winter days will be here soon and I know I will be longing for the warmth of summer!

Here is a picture of Abigail before school this morning.  She looks so grown up to me!  4 years old, wow, where has the time gone?!?

This was last week before school on her first day, I had to post this just because I love it of her.

My baby boy sucking his thumb, never thought I would have a thumb sucker but I do and I think it's so darn cute!

Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. 1 Corinthians 13: 7

  1. You will be much busier at home than you ever were at work, as you know :) Unless someone has done it, they dont get it. All the million little things you do that take ALL DAY and sometimes night!
