Family tradition!

My dad and I would carve pumpkins every Halloween as I was growing up!  It was one of our traditions and I looked forward to doing that with him every fall!  Today Ron, Robert, Amber, the children and I carved pumpkins at mama and daddy's.  We had so much fun and made some great memories!

Our great neighbors Jay and Lori brought us a dozen of these babies last week as a welcome to the neighborhood gift!  They were from Carytown Cupcakes and they were delicious!  So happy we have such fun neighbors!  That was so very sweet of them.

This is what it looks like at our house most afternoons.  Who would of thought first grade would bring an hour of homework each night?!  Jack likes to put his lion blanket on and color during this time!  Funny little guy he is:)
I am in the PTA again this year and have had a vision of doing a drive in style movie for the students for quite some time.  It all came to fruition Friday night with an excellent turnout!  It's hard to see here but this is a huge movie screen that came from VA Beach, the kids watched Hotel Translyvania!

Here's the PTA board, Christina, me, Melissa, Karen and Deanna!  We sold popcorn, candy, drinks and hot chocolate!

Here is Robert's masterpiece pumpkin he created today!  Quite impressive if you ask me, he did good!

More pictures from today!

The final products!  Amber and Robert won for most artistic!  ;)

A dad and his daughter, loves this picture.
Tonight after bath time we had the grand illumination of our pumpkins!  So much fun!

It's Halloween week!  Yippee!!  Hope you've got your costume ready!!  :)
